When you wake up before your friends and you sneak out through the glass doors and sit down with a coffee in the sun next to the pool. That’s life. Yesterday we checked in to our AirBnB, our home for one week of vacation in LA. A huge villa with a pool in Calabasas, just perfect for 5 friends.
And we had to inaugurate the pool. It’s November after all and we’re used to chilly fall days. Then you just should not hold off on the pool side lounging. So when the guys went for food me and Marie welcomed the chance to just chill by the pool. It felt like luxury, exactly how it should feel when on vacation!
Today we’re aiming at Santa Barbara and as always when me and Patrick go somewhere we’re not thinking of the fastest way (it’s about 1h away) but more along the lies of driving through a state park down to the beach and then follow the coast. We both remember how absolutely amazing our Highway 1 drive was last year and we’re hungry for more. No matter what we end up doing there will be tons of photos and they will of course end up here!
När man vaknar innan vännerna och tassar ut genom glasdörrarna och slår sig ner med en kaffe i solen bredvid poolen. Det är livet det. Igår checkade vi in på vårt AirBnB, vårt hem för en veckas semester i LA. En stor villa med pool i Calabasas, det blir perfekt för 5 vänner det.
Och poolen var ju tvungen att invigas. Det är ju trots allt November och vi är van vid kalla höst dagar. Då väntas det inte med att få njuta av pool häng. Så igår när killarna åkte och fixade lunch passade jag och Marie på att inviga poolen. Kändes sådär underbart lyxigt som det ska kännas när man har semester!
Idag har vi lite lösa planer på att ta oss till Santa Barbara, som vanligt när jag och Patrick åker någonstans blir det inte bara snabbaste möjliga vägen (ca 1 timme bort) utan vi tänker oss nog att köra genom ett naturreservat ner till stranden och sen följa kusten då vi minns hur otroligt Highway 1 va förra året. Oavsett blir det många många bilder som oundvikligt kommer hamna här!
